DAILY TEAM

  • Mr. Richard Slowey, Co-CEO & Chairman of the Board of Directors and its Advisory Board.   Richard is primarily responsible for interacting with the company management and in overseeing the company operations as well as company strategy and planning.  Richard spent his first 20 years in the insurance industry including senior management of a 200 employee insurance agency.  For the next 10 years, Richard was the CEO of a Massachusetts Licensed Mortgage banking firm of 20 employees that handled commercial and residential loans.   From 2002 to 2009, Richard was the COO of a multi-family real estate development firm that caused the creation of over $300 million in multi-family/mixed-use real estate developments. Since 2009, Richard has been a real estate development and alternative energy consultant.

  • Mr. Brendan Slowey, Co-CEO.  Brendan oversees the company main office with primary responsibility for company strategy and planning.  Brendan brings prior experience in starting, managing and working in small businesses in real estate, construction and plumbing.  Additionally, he brings years of experience in commercial & multi-family development with a focus on sustainability.  He has kept his prospective grounded and skills sharp while advocating and researching renewable energy systems and solutions.

  • Ms. Devon Devnew, Director of Marketing and Public Relations.  Devon delivers and builds the message of geothermal.  She supports the company's growth and customer acquisitions through the awareness of geothermal's benefits.  Devon has 10 years of experience in marketing products and promoting companies nationwide.

  • Ms. Judith Harbison, Operations and Science Educator.  Judith’s experience includes teaching science and as a biology research assistant/diver with the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute and aboard its intercontinental deep-sea vessels.  Judith has also served on the Trustees of the United Methodist Church and as a corporator of the College Light Opera organization. 

  • Mr. Peter Levesque, Director of Customer Relations and Sales.  Peter has 15 years experience in sales management and 25 years in customer relations.  Peter is a United States Marine Corp Veteran.

  • Mr. Christopher Keane, Director of Finance. His responsibilities include securing long and short-term financing options for GeoEnergy’s commercial customers. Mr. Keane brings over 30 years of commercial financing & lending experience to GeoEnergy.  He has worked for national banks, commercial mortgage companies as well as commercial finance companies. Before joining GeoEnergy he was one of the founders of a Boston based commercial mortgage company. For the past several years he has worked with nationwide CPACE Lenders in securing energy-based loan sources for the benefit of GeoEnergy customers.

  • Mr. Gaylord Olson, Consultant. He is an inventor with engineering degrees from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and UCLA. He is a member of the Industrial Advisory Committee for Mechanical Engineering at Temple University in Philadelphia. He is the inventor or co-inventor of 12 patents with several patents pending related to multi-source heat pumps, underground thermal energy storage and solar thermal energy collection. He is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-Conditioning Engineers, the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association, the American Solar Energy Society, the New York Geothermal Energy Association, and the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association.

ADVISOR TEAM

  • Mr. Robert Jensen,  Holds degrees in Physics and Mechanical Engineering.  He spent much of his career in operations, before holding leadership positions as President of Jentec Inc., as well as Director and Chairman of the Board of Euromed Inc.  Robert is an NACD certified director and has demonstrated expertise in corporate governance, business management, private corporate finance, operations, strategic planning, sales, and marketing.  In addition to his Board responsibilities, Robert is currently the Founder, President and CEO of Agreenability, a Green Energy space company. He is an accredited geothermal designer with 10 years of leadership in the industry.   Agreenability’s patented geothermal pipe has successful installations in over 400 locations totaling over $10 million of Geothermal systems.

  • Mr. Jack DiEnna, is the Executive Director & Founder of the Geothermal National & International Initiative (GEO-NII) is a business development and marketing professional with over fifty years combined experience in the electric utility industry and the renewable energy industry.  He is a nationally recognized authority on all aspects of renewable technology and specifically geothermal heat pumps (GHP), including the resulting positive economic and environmental impact that can be derived from the use of geothermal heat pump systems and other renewable technologies.  His expertise is internationally acknowledged as a valued resource by not only the renewable & geothermal heat pump industry but also by government officials, both national and international, trade allies, and all major market segment associations in the promotion of geothermal heat pump technology.  Mr. DiEnna is also working for the Department of Energy as a peer reviewer for geothermal projects.  In 2006, Mr. DiEnna was appointed by the Secretary of Energy, to serve as a member of the Federal Energy Management Advisory Committee (FEMAC)

  • Mr. Robert Cappelletti, is the Executive Director of both the Meriden and Groton Housing Authorities in Connecticut. Additionally, he is the director of their affiliated non-profit development entities.  In the last 7 years Rob has created over $400 million in multi-family and mixed-use projects that all have renewable energy and energy conservation components that includes geothermal heating, cooling & domestic hot water as well as Solar PV electricity production.

  • Mr. Stanley Reitsma PhD  PE,   Geothermal drilling expert.  Mr. Stanley Reitsma is the President of GeoSource Energy Inc, a geothermal drilling corporation holding the long term goal of making geothermal energy affordable and available to every home and business.   Mr. Reitsma earned a Bachelors Degree in Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a PhD in Civil Engineering from Queen’s University.

  • Mr. Don Penn PE,  25+ yr ground-source geothermal consulting engineer.  Don is amongst the most knowledgeable geothermal engineers and has been involved in more that 400 commercial geothermal installations.
